COMMUNICATION WITH PARENTS

          Good and reliable communication between school staff and parents is essential to the educational success of our students.  In light of this, BenStel has provided two efficient and convenient platforms to communicate important information to parents.  New information and parent resources will be posted on the BenStel website: www.benstelschoolsystem.com. 

Parents will also be required to use a smartphone to download the free instant messaging and telephone application, Telegram Messenger.  BenStel will communicate any important information to parents through both platforms.  Parents will be held responsible for any information communicated through these platforms.  Failure to download or review these platforms will not be accepted as an excuse for not having received the information communicated.

In addition, BenStel has established a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) as a parent volunteer group designed to maintain a close relationship between BenStel families and our teachers and staff.  The PTA works to facilitate communication and interaction through meetings, special events, and activities throughout the school year.  All parents are strongly encouraged to involve themselves in the PTA.

          Parents will be required to review and sign consent to the policies described in this handbook.  Parents can either review a free copy of this handbook on the BenStel website, or request a printed copy from the Administrative Team after paying a fee.
